Welcome to Casa Lux Monica - one of a kind, bright, comfortable, spacious (2017 sq ft), brand new AC/heat throughout, and very unique property in one of the best areas of Santa Monica city. Only one block to the Whole Foods, two blocks to Trader Joe’s and many restaurants in short walking distance. Only minutes away from 3rd St promenade, the beach, Venice & Montana Ave. Easy access to all main LA attractions. NO parties, NO gatherings, NO events, NO unauthorized guests, unless approved by the owner.
WHAT MAKES OUR PROPERY SPECIAL:
-Exquisite, bright, spacious 2 story frontal townhouse in a gated, 4 unit building with no one above or below you, separate entrance with a beautiful bench, plants, motion sensor lights. There are 10 steps from the street to the front porch.
-High end design, original art, venetian plaster, high ceilings, unique décor, crystal chandeliers, authentic collection of the picture frames with images from all over the world, lots of windows, shutters and much more
-All bedrooms upstairs (15 steps) with comfortable, luxurious queen beds including Tempurpedic, Beutyrest, TV in every room, charging stations on every nightstand, decorative curtains and blackout blinds, Elliptical trainer in one of the bedrooms
-Two full bathrooms upstairs with separate tub and shower, custom tile work, Italian towel warmers and half bath downstairs
-Gourmet fully stocked KITCHEN is equipped with Viking stove, Bosh dishwasher, Breville toaster oven, two slice toaster, blender, drip coffees maker, milk frother, Krups electric tea kettle, rice cooker, microwave and large French doors LG fridge. Dishes for fine and regular dining provided as well as pots and pans, tea selection, coffee, organic olive oil and condiments
-One of a kind, Zen PATIO. Lush garden, decorative fountain and Tiffany lanterns transform this patio into an oasis. Gardening service provided once a week.
-Separate OFFICE equipped with monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse and luxurious satin-etched glass surface desk
-Washer and dryer the house
-Electric Recliner and 60" TV in the FAMILY ROOM for your comfort, Bernhardt queen sofa bed, love seat, stackable game tables with games and grand piano (for display only) in the living room
-Parking permit for street parking for up to two cars will be provided free of charge
-Surveillance cameras with 24/7 monitoring are located as follows: 1 camera affixed to the exterior wall above the main entry door; 1 camera affixed to the exterior wall in the patio.
We strive to provide highest degree of cleanness and comfort for you. Pillows are certified by the American Down and Feather Council to exceed industry standards. Each pillow is covered with zipped fully enclosed waterproof, breathable and super soft pillow protector. Each mattress is covered with zipped 6 side encasement and an additional fitted mattress protector on the top. We have no carpet - only hardwood floor and tiles - easy to clean and disinfect.
All changes/moves of the booked travel dates are subject to a cancellation policy. If a date change is required, guest must cancel their existing booking as per cancellation policy and if available, book new nights at the rates stated in the new booking. Credits, if any, may be issued on a case-by-case basis, at a full discretion of the landlord and it does not circumvent current or future cancellation policy.

Summary: Little did we know that one week after our visit to see our ailing sister, she would pass. In retrospect, this home was logistically perfect for our nightly family dinner as our sister could be comfortable on the reclining leather couch while we sat at the dining room table. The four evenings the five of us spent with our sister will always be a memory that we cherish in a very special way. The first floor layout of the house made it possible for us to have this memory.The appliances in the kitchen were top of the line and all worked well. This allowed us to cook dinner and celebrate the Easter holiday with traditional foods. However the number of plates, salad plates, bowls was limited to the number of guests who were staying in the home. While the rooms are spacious and accommodating, and the sheets were superb, towels were less so and toilet paper was in short supply. We appreciated the kitchen cooking pots and sharp knives. We recommend that dishcloths be added as the small sponge provided was insufficient to properly clean surfaces. Of particular note was the beauty of the side outside area - especially in the evening. All in all, this was a lovely home and in retrospect accommodated our visit better than we could have anticipated. The neighborhood is quiet and accessibility to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods , Tartine's and other lo9cal eateries is within short walking distances. The location is ideal and parking was never a problem.
